Liberia Trains Diplomatic Officers
A delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia has commenced the training of Liberian diplomatic officers and staff at its Embassy in Accra, Ghana. Headed by the Deputy Foreign Minister for Administration, Thelma Duncan-Sawyer, the eight-member delegation has been conducting a week-long training tagged ‘Performance Management System’ which is expected to be replicated to other Liberian foreign missions across Africa. The Supreme Court of Liberia has ruled in favor of the National Campaign Management Team of Julius Kanubah in a case seeking to overturn a controversial mandate by Associate Justice Joseph Nagbe. The Executive branch of government through the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning- MFDP, has submitted to the House of Representatives- the Country’s Draft National Budget in the tune of US$625.57 million for fiscal year 2024.
