A 33-year-old man identified as— Jordan David; purporting to be President Joseph Boakai has been arrested, charged and forwarded to court for prosecution. An indictment was unsealed against the 33-year-old after several individuals alleged that he collected money from them under the disguise of appointing them into several governmental positions. Liberia: Police Gives Motorcycle Operators Ultimatum As No-Go Zone Policy Goes Into Effect

The Liberia National Police has given an ultimatum to operators of motorcycles and tricycles to abide by the No-go zone policy instituted several years ago to regulate safety and traffic. Addressing a news conference over the weekend, Police Inspector General Col. Gregory Coleman said, as of May 15, 2024 no motorcycle rider will be allowed to ply the major streets of Monrovia and its environs. A notorious and popularly scammer identified as George B. Wade alias Nicholas Jack Davis has been acquitted by Criminal Court “D” of  the crime of Armed Robbery. Davis, who is said to have multiple indictments hanging over his head, was acquitted after the prosecution failed to provide evidence linking the accused to armed robbery.
